Kathy Douglas is an Australian artist and writer living in the Ballarat region. Kathy’s practice encompasses a broad range of mediums, including painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture.
Conceptually, Kathy is motivated by concepts of environment and home, offering both local and global perspectives. Her work strikes a balance between the personal and broad themes affecting us all.
Kathy is an active member of the arts community in Ballarat, and whilst completing her Visual Arts degree is a general member of the Art Gallery of Ballarat Association committee, and the Association magazine committee, writing for the gallery publication Untitled.
Kathy receives regular commissions, has exhibited locally and has work in various private collections.
